BobâEzy is a DJ and producer who has been making waves in the house music scene since 2003. He has a unique style of blending kwaito, tribal, deep and soulful elements to create floor-shaking masterpieces. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Dr Duda, Ganyani, Mbuso and Sox, as well as newcomers like DJ Aero, The Game and Hypnosis. He has also produced hit tracks like âMoney Makerâ and âMoney Spenderâ for Durban artists DJ Menace and Smallz.
On CD 1 of Candi Roots Volume 2, BobâEzy showcases his skills and versatility with 14 tracks that range from smooth and groovy to upbeat and energetic. V.Underground is one of the most exciting new talents to emerge from South Africaâs deep house scene. He co-owns a record label, Ultratone, that has had chart-topping remixes on international download portals like Tracksource. He has also released music on respected labels like Soul Candi Records, House Afrika and Peng Africa. He has remixed local and international artists such as Dr Duda, RJ Benjamin, Antonio Lyons, Lolo and Mphoza, as well as Cofano from Italy, the Brazilian Soul Crew and various US artists.
On CD 2 of Candi Roots Volume 2, V.Underground delivers 13 tracks that showcase his signature sound of deep, soulful and Afro house. Some of the highlights include âYou Donât Know Meâ featuring Rona Ray, âYour Friendâ featuring Rocio Starry and âAll I Needâ featuring Charlie Mindgames. CD 3: Mindgames
Mindgames is a three-man production group that consists of Bobby, Charlie and Corny. They have a unique sound that combines soulful vocals, funky beats and catchy hooks. Bobby is a graduate from the Soul Candi Institute of Music who has perfected his production skills to give the group their polished sound. Charlie is a vocalist who has worked with Dr Duda and Blackwhole and has had his tracks remixed by French deep house legend DJ Rocco. Corny is a DJ and producer who learnt to mix in 2000 while attending the Tshwane University of Technology.
On CD 3 of Candi Roots Volume 2, Mindgames showcases their talent and creativity with 12 tracks that range from funky and jazzy to smooth and mellow. Some of the highlights include âUthandoâ featuring Dindy, âDreamsâ featuring Bobby van Jaarsveldt and âIâm In Loveâ featuring Nthabiseng.
